NEW AND EXCLUSIVE LOCATION FOR FRIGHT NIGHTS SURREY

NONSUCH MANSION GHOST HUNT – £65.00

EVENT DATE:    JANUARY 25th 2020    8pm – 1am     BOOK HERE

EVENT LOCATION:     Nonsuch Mansion, Nonsuch Park, Ewell Road, Cheam. SM3 8AL.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE MANSION:

Not to be confused with Nonsuch Palace (1538) which was the other
side of the park – Henry VIII built the palace to celebrate the
birth of his son – he wanted to build a palace where ‘non such’
other palace could compare, hence the name! The palace was destroyed
in the 18th century but you can still see the foundations!

Nonsuch Mansion was built in 1802 by the Farmer family, designed by Jeffery Wyatt, the same person that designed therestorations at Winsor Castle!!

It’s thought that the cellars at the mansion are much older than
1802 and are likely to be the foundations of Henry VIII’s original
hunting lodge.

It was built to be a party house – the Farmer family wanted it to be
as open and big as possible, due to them being new to the area and
wanting to make friends with the local gentry and build their own
reputation by holding great parties!

Farmer family lived in the mansion right up until 1937 when
they then passed it onto the local council who still run the park today.
It was listed as a Grade II property back in April 1954.

NONSUCH MANSION GHOST HUNT WILL INCLUDE:
      An introduction by the host
Mediumship walkaround – who’s haunting the location?

      Vigils in the dark
Experiments including seances, sit and wait, trigger objects, glass divination.
Advice and discussion on anything paranormal
      Hot and Cold refreshments

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY WITNESSED:
Staff have seen a little boy running up the staircase only to disappear down a long corridor on the upper floor. Staff have also seen a woman in a red dress walking through a number of rooms and then to walk through a wall and vanish!
Down in the vast cellars an oppressive atmosphere is felt and dark shadows have been seen as well as footsteps heard and doors closing.
Figures have been seen outside wandering the grounds at night only to vanish from sight.
Will we see the little boy or the woman in red? Will we meet any former owners of the mansion? Could it really be Henry VIII down in his wine cellars closing the doors trying to protect his dark secrets and possibly his wine bottles too?!
Join Fright Nights Surrey for our return and another paranormal investigation as we try to uncover the stories and secrets of this mysterious mansion’s history. We are excited to be returning to this fabulous location.
